After-Hour Care for Your Pet is provided through Cornell Hospital for Animals in Ithaca, NY. They are available 24 hours a day and ask that you call before coming at 607-253-3060.

During the current COVID crisis many veterinary hospitals are finding themselves overbooked with general client care and emergencies. Some of the surrounding emergency and referral centers are finding they are unable to take all patients for urgent care. We want to provide you with a list of several available hospitals which can be contacted in case Cornell and Colonial are “at capacity”. We recognize these hospitals are a drive and we sincerely hope this situation relieves itself soon, but for now:

Emergency care is expensive - there are times it cannot be avoided, but if you sense illness, have concern of reaction post vaccine visit, or have concern about your pet's post-surgical healing, call and we will get your pet in for care before the start of the weekend. Please be alert and call as early as possible.
